I’ve produced three feature films, directing two of them. I wrote the screenplays for all three. Two of my movies have won awards at film festivals (Phoenix and Sacramento), and all three have attained distribution.

Movies

Her Minor Thing

I wrote and produced “Her Minor Thing,” a smart romantic comedy about a woman whose life is upended when her boyfriend accidentally reveals on live TV that she’s a virgin.

The film starred several well-known actors and obtained 50 distribution deals worldwide on TV and DVD (U.S., Canada, France, Italy, Spain, Japan, Greece, Australia, etc.).

Its world premiere was at the Seattle International Film Festival, and its world TV premiere was on TF1 (the top-rated network in France).

In the U.S., it played on Showtime, The Movie Channel, and Women’s Entertainment network.

At the Phoenix Film Festival, Christian Kane was awarded a Special Jury Prize for Acting for his performance in “Her Minor Thing.”

Not Your Year

I wrote, produced, and directed “Not Your Year,” a romantic comedy set in the local music scene.

The film won Best Comedy at the Sacramento International Film Festival, and is currently playing on Amazon Prime Video.

It stars actors from Sacramento’s famed B Street Theatre, and includes on-camera music performances by Andy Allo (who toured and wrote with Prince) and Dawn & Hawkes (who were a big hit on NBC’s “The Voice”).

Someone Like You

I wrote, produced, and directed “Someone Like You,” my first film. It’s a microbudget romantic comedy about a goofy, aspiring musician and the five women in his life.

We made distribution deals in seven foreign countries (Germany, Japan, Australia, etc.).
